In Dec 2022, MV Onego Traveller sank near Great Abaco Cay, Bahamas, at a depth of 33 meters. Koole won the contract for cargo and wreck removal. Over 6 months, with challenging weather conditions, 3100 tons of cargo and the entire hull were successfully removed.

Through close collaboration with local port and environmental authorities, we preserved the engine room as an artificial reef, making a positive impact on diving tourism and contributing to the restoration of coral reefs.
