At the beginning of 2023, Koole began the demolition of a oil refinery. This involves dismantling all above-ground structures, installations, and removing all foundations and underground infrastructure up to 2 meters below ground level.
Since there were no operational installations on the site, explosives were used in addition to conventional demolition methods to bring down the larger and heavier installations. This was done by a specialized company that Koole regularly collaborates with.
After successfully demolishing all above-ground components, the team proceeded with removing all infrastructure up to 2 meters below ground. This was all completed successfully, and the site was delivered within the specified timeframe.
