  • Responsibilities

    • Leading and managing tenders for maritime salvage and wreck removal projects
    • Acting as the primary point of contact for preparing tenders throughout the tender process
    • Preparing detailed work descriptions and project plans that address the unique challenges of marine and salvage operations
    • Providing advice on commercial and strategic approaches in collaboration with senior management, with a focus on competitive positioning in the maritime industry
    • Collaborating with internal teams, including naval architect, operations, and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment), to gather input and translate it into high-quality tender documents that meet client specifications
    • Conducting thorough risk analyses, specifically tailored to the hazards and complexities of maritime operations
    • Reviewing the completeness and accuracy of cost estimates, including specialized equipment and vessel costs, and ensuring high-quality documentation is submitted
    • Analyzing and interpreting the contractual aspects, focusing on maritime regulations and salvage law
    • Ensuring timely and accurate completion and submission of all necessary documents for tender applications, including certifications and legal compliances for marine projects

    In addition to these tasks, you will support project preparation and administration (requesting and reviewing quotations, processing reports, post-calculations, invoicing, and monthly orders). While the primary focus will be on salvage and wreck removal, you will also be involved in other maritime projects as needed.

  • Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (technical education with maritime focus is preferred)
    • Experience or strong interest in maritime operations, particularly salvage and wreck removal
    • Proactive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
    • Excellent command of English in both spoken and written communication
    • Flexible and adaptable mindset, with the ability to handle the unpredictable nature of maritime projects
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Business and service-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality tender proposals for complex marine operations
