  • Job description

    As a Site Manager, you are responsible for leading and coordinating daily specialized demolition assignments on-site. You ensure that work is carried out as effectively and efficiently as possible, managing a team of workers and subcontractors. You play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and progress of projects. You report directly to the project manager and work closely with various stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors.

  • Responsibilities

    • Daily leadership of the execution of specialized assignments and projects on-site
    • Ensuring effective planning and coordination of work activities, including the delegation of tasks to colleagues and subcontractors
    • Maintaining regular contact with the project manager to discuss the progress of projects and eventually address any issues or adjustments needed
    • Managing project administration, including maintaining documentation, reporting, and tracking the progress of work activities
    • Overseeing compliance with safety and quality standards, and implementing corrective measures when necessary to ensure these are met
    • Encouraging, motivating, and guiding the site team to achieve optimal performance
  • Skills & Experience

    • Technical diploma
    • Extensive knowledge of demolition or remediation
    • Hands-on mentality since you work in the team
    • You prioritize safety
    • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team towards common goals
    • Category B driving license
    • VCA-VOL certificate
