The KOOLE 53, classified as an anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS), excels in seakeeping performance and maneuverability, showcasing exceptional towing capabilities. With a bollard pull of 50 tonnes, it is certified by RINA for operation in unrestricted sailing areas.

The vessel boasts an experienced crew and a wide array of equipment, coupled with an impressive bunker capacity of 550,000 liters, fuel-efficient engines, a seaworthy hull, and twin fixed propellers in nozzles. These features afford the vessel exceptional reach during towing and excellent seakeeping capabilities. With its versatile design and exceptional towing attributes, the KOOLE 53 is suitable for a range of global operations including, but not limited to, single and double towing, anchor handling, rig move assistance, salvage support, wreck removal, harbor towage, escort duties, and deck/cargo transportation.

Equipped with a double drum towing and anchor handling winch, deck crane, Shark jaws, and towing pins, the KOOLE 53 accommodates up to 37 persons on board.
