Job description
As a Prevention Advisor, you are responsible for developing and implementing an effective prevention policy. You advise and support both management and employees in adhering to legal regulations and guidelines regarding workplace well-being and environmental concerns. You proactively develop improvement initiatives and ensure successful implementation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Policy and Procedures: You develop and manage procedures related to prevention and protection in the workplace, and provide Koole NV with professional advice
- Administration: You carry out administrative tasks, such as preparing statutory monthly reports, walkaround reports, and tracking action points related to quality and safety
- Accident Management: You report, investigate, and manage workplace accidents and the associated files.
Risk Management: You identify hazards, manage risk files, perform specific risk analyses, and develop safety instructions and awareness campaigns - Audits: You are responsible for planning, executing, and following up on internal and external audits related to quality, safety, and the environment
- Training and Support: You organize internal and external training sessions, oversee first aid material, and organize toolbox meetings for employees
Skills & Experience
- A certificate as a Prevention Advisor and the willingness to obtain a FULL VCA certificate after starting
- Some experience as a Prevention Advisor, preferably in an industrial or service-oriented environment
- A good knowledge of French and English is an advantage but not a requirement
- Strong communication and administrative skills, combined with an analytical and goal-oriented approach
- A proactive, pragmatic attitude and the desire to be visible on the work floor and among employees
