Koole has expanded her fleet with a versatile floating sheerleg. The KOOLE LIFT 400 has a maximum lifting capacity of 400 tons and a high lifting height on the main hooks of 29,7 meters (from deck).
At a reach of 22,7 metres, it can lift up to 100 tons and she can still lift 56 tons at a maximum reach of 40,0 meters from the bow. The sheerleg has a number of useful features, such as a jib to be able to lift loads at greater heights up to 48,8 meters, where she is still able to take 250 tons. Further, she is self-propelled and equipped with two Schottel thrusters (individually controlled from the bridge) and a bow thruster. Her maximum speed is 5,5 kts and she has a bunker capacity of 152 m3 fuel and 152 m3 fresh water. She is classed by INSB class with Panama flag, who provides inland and coastal trading. The KOOLE LIFT 400 can be used for operations such as, but not limited to all kind of heavy lift activities, salvage assistance, wreck removal and/or cargo transportation. Accommodation on board is provided for 13 persons.
