Responsibilities
- Create and maintain contracts
- Book flights and communicate with all crew, agents, project managers, etc.
- Coordinate crew changes on the vessels, organizing the necessary documents, travel, and transport
- Liaise with and monitor crewing agencies regarding the hiring of temporary crew
- Maintain the crew management system and report crew matters and costs to management
- Prepare LOI/LOGs
- Maintain crew planning
- Apply for visas
- Manage bonded stores and cash advances
- Process payroll for freelancers
- Send timesheets to staffing agencies
- File and maintain certification and all documents per crew member (document control)
- Apply for endorsements
Skills & Experience
- Completed MBO (secondary vocational education), with relevant experience in a similar role
- Affinity with the maritime sector
- Knowledge of MARAD is an advantage
- Flexible work attitude
- Solution-oriented and stress-resistant
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of maritime crew requirements and temporary staffing regulations, or the willingness to develop this knowledge
